JIS College of Engineering is an engineering college located in West Bengal, India. The college was established by the JIS Group in Kalyani. The college is an AICTE-approved institution and is affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology. This is the first Autonomous self-financed college of West Bengal. Organizing various National and International seminars throughout the academic calendar, and having an exclusive Entrepreneurship cell of its own which conducts various entrepreneurship-awareness drive across various places, this college has carved a niche of its own. Departmental events like Märsqüiz, Scizone, Robotrack, Tabulation etc. ,keep students engaged and innovative. Backed by several clubs such as Engineering and Modelling Club, Science Club, Photography Club, Mathematics Society, Trekking Club, Computer Society provides a strong background for students to compete at different national and international level competitions. Nonetheless Senior-Junior camaraderie develops through such competitions through which knowledge is passed on.
